As a member of the Macau community, we encourage all of our employees to get involved in community outreach programs, educational initiatives and Green campaigns. We are fortunate to be in Macau, and believe that donating our time and dedicating ourselves for the benefit of others is a meaningful way of giving back.
Educating the community
Our Wynn Academy and Food & Beverage Academy nurture our employees and provide educational opportunities in the areas of service, leadership and wellbeing. Team members are encouraged to build on their professional skills and personal interests and find a healthy balance between their work and personal lives.
Wynn’s “Head start” program is the first of its kind in Macau, offering on-the-job training and exciting career opportunities to local hospitality students while they are still studying, opening the door to higher level positions at Wynn Macau after graduation. Through “Head start”, Wynn Macau aims to strengthen the skills and knowledge of the local workforce, develop local talent, improve service standards and help transform Macau into a world-class tourist destination.
WE Volunteer to give back
The WE Volunteer group participates in activities with the Macau community, giving each employee the opportunity to spend their free time in an even more meaningful way. Wynn Macau hopes this volunteer program will encourage more employees to get involved and to use their free time in a valuable way.
By giving back generously with one’s time, volunteers are making positive contributions to society. The WE Volunteer program has already attracted employees from a variety of departments including: Food & Beverage, Hotel Catering & Sales, Casino, Housekeeping, Marketing, Human Resources and the Executive team.

…we are here to help. Wynn Macau aids in disaster relief and donates to reputable charitable organizations in Macau and Hong Kong. Recognizing the importance of education, Wynn Macau also sponsors scholarships at local universities. Additionally, Wynn Macau seeks opportunities to partner with organizations that promote and encourage young people to appreciate art and culture.
THE GREEN TEAM
Wynn’s Green movement
The Green Team initiative educates employees about environmental issues and raises awareness with key messages. We encourage team members to reduce waste and energy consumption, reuse cardboard boxes and scrap paper, and recycle paper, plastic and cans. Employees are also encouraged to think about and propose new environmentally-friendly practices.

Wynn Macau recognizes that locally owned businesses play a crucial role in both boosting and diversifying Macau’s economy. The company is committed to pursuing business relationships with companies such as these, and to pursue business partnerships that ensure a “win-win” for both company and supplier.
Wynn Macau’s Supplier Diversity Objectives are designed to:
1. Actively and routinely pursue qualified locally owned enterprises that can provide competitive and high-quality commodities and services.
2. Find opportunities to assist in the development and competitiveness of locally owned businesses through instruction, mentoring, and other outreach activities.
3. Work with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Macau to educate small- to medium-size businesses (SMEs) about the procurement needs of integrated resorts.
4. Encourage the participation and support of suppliers who are not locally owned businesses in an effort to ensure best price and quality of product.
